Synopsis:

Game of Thrones meets Ocean’s Eleven in this brand-new book in the world of the Grisha by New York Times-bestselling author Leigh Bardugo.

Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first.

Isn’t it obvious? We get to go back to the Grisha world! I really liked Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha Trilogy (see my reviews for Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, and Ruin and Rising) and I loved the dark, magical fantasy world she created. Six of Crows sounds like it’s going to full of colorful characters all hiding big secrets. And a heist story? I haven’t read a heist book in forever (if at all…) so this’ll be a welcome change. But guys, seriously, who isn’t excited for this new series?

  1. I’m really looking forward to reading Six of Crows too! Leigh Bardugo is one of my favourite authors. I messaged her over Tumblr asking for writing advice before I started drafting my second novel manuscript – her reply was really encouraging and inspired me to try and write a young adult fantasy book of my own, which I’m still working on now 🙂

    1. Aw thanks! My novel’s not much right now, but I’m aiming to write a classic 😎 I was so surprised and happy when Leigh replied to my message…I even told my English teacher, though I’m not sure she’s heard of her! By the way, your blog’s brilliant, well done!
